11/23/2005 Del Mar (2) Cupertino (0)
A game of rough play, flailing arms, elbows and brutal body checking. Del Mar were hacking most balls forward and pushing their large physic to great advantage. The referee did not call many foul plays. Between dog poop, mud pool and grass less patches, the field should be disbarred for soccer. The Tino ladies were not intimidated. They gave as good as they get. They battled from start to finish with brave hearts and bruised bodies. Great job Tino ! Next home game versus Castilleja High on Wednesday 11/30/2005 3:30 pm.
#4 Danielle Mathews ambidextrous left foot kick of the ball (no trap) in mid air trajectory!!! See video link above.

11/21/2005 Cupertino (0) Sacred Heart (2)
The score did not do justice to the Cupertino performance. Sacred Heart Cathedral was bigger, faster and experienced. They played with accurate passing and tenacious defense. The Tino ladies were down 1-0 at half time after an accurate lob into the top right corner of the goal from a free kick at the corner flag. The second goal was a bad bounce at the low left side of the goalie Brittany Palacio. The Tino ladies did not back down and gave all they had. Shots from Melanie Boyle, Cici Kobinski, Christine Adame, Victoria La Brie, Ashley Rue, Melissa Gomez, Danielle Matthews, Aubrey Dolera, Ashley Rue were close. Defenders Page Dickson, Kimberly Chew, Amanda Cook, Nadine Petrie and reserve goalie Erin Hammond were outstanding at keeping Sacred Heart from scoring again. Ashley Wakefield displayed some amazing ball skills and passes. Please forgive me if I forgot anybody who did play. Next match at Del Mar 11/23/2005 3:30 pm; Parent meeting tonight 5:15 pm 11/22/2005 after practice. Please come and look forward to meeting everybody.

11/16/2005 Cupertino (2) Pinewood (1)
An invigorating contest of will and stamina. Kudos to Jill Myers for organization and coaching the girls into a cohesive unit. Parental vocal support was loud and clear. The girls responded with our first win of the season. After being down 1-0 in the first half from a free kick at the front of the 30 yard box, the Tino ladies rallied back to a 2-1 victory with goals from #22 Victoria La Brie and #4 Danielle Mathews. Victoria struck a pass from #20 Cici Kobinski across the diving Pinewood goalie into the far bottom right corner. Danielle lobbed a free kick in front of the 30 year box into the top of the goal past the stretched Pinewood goalie. Next match is a home game against Sacred Heart Cathedral on Monday 11/21/2005 3:30 pm; Del MAr game is moved to Wednesday 11/23/2005;
Action shots of Cici Kobinski #20 beating 2 defenders with her wizard dribble and blistering shot !!! See video link above.
